CAROLINE COSSEY (TULA)

Occasionally, a transsexual actress appears in a so-called legitimate film. For example, Caroline Cossey appeared in the James Bond film ''For Your Eyes Only'' (1981), in which she was one of the pool girls. Born Barry Cossey in 1954, in Brooke, Norfolk, England, she began her transformation in 1972, completing the process by undergoing sex reassignment surgery two years later, whereupon she took the name Caroline Cossey|Tula and began to work as a model after dancing topless in Paris burlesque clubs. She tells her story in two autobiographies, ''Tula: I Am a Woman'' (1982) and ''My Story'' (1991). Following her film debut, she was outed as a transsexual, which, initially, had an adverse effect on her modeling career. She is married to her third husband, David Finch, in Atlanta, Georgia. Her first two marriages were to Count Glauco and Elias Fattal, respectively.

OLIVIA LOVE

Olivia Love (also known as Crystal Dawn) is an adult film actress, who is transsexual. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Love attended high school in Washington, D. C., before moving first to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and, finally, to Los Angeles, California. She used the profits she earned for her early adult film roles to pay for breast augmentation and facial surgery. She has blonde hair, has blue eyes, wears a 34D size brassiere, has a 25-inch waist, and has 38-inch hips. Love is deaf.
