Though Mike's initial reaction was to pooh-pooh her friend's assertion out of hand, she quickly reexamined her feelings, and found that John might have discerned something that she may not have taken into consideration. "Okay! Maybe you're right! Maybe, as a woman who happens to think like a woman for the here and now of it, were you to stretch the point a bit, I'll have to concede that you might be able to classify me as being a bisexual. However, I've got a little confession to make that might help to clarify a few things."

"Okay!" replied John. "You've got my undivided attention. So, go ahead! Confess away!"

"Right now, with you holding me in your arms like you are, I can state rather emphatically that I'm more inclined to fantasize about being with a guy than a girl."

"Oh, you do, do you?"

"Oh, yeah! Make no never mind about it, given my present mindset, I would rather be with a guy, over a girl, any day of the week."

"Okay! I'll bite! Of all the swinging dicks that are here tonight, tell me which of them tickles that rather transitory feminine fancy of yours?"

"Well, though I can't believe that I'm actually saying something like this, I've got to admit that right at this moment, I find myself sexually attracted to a guy I've been friends with for years."

"Yeah! Right!" John laughed, rejecting Mike's assertion out of hand. "Come on, pal! Let's get real here!"

"John!" Mike earnestly intoned. "I'm not kidding! Look! I know this sounds crazy, but I wouldn't be averse were you to you plant a wet one on me right about now."

"You wouldn't?" John countered in disbelief.

"No, John, I really wouldn't. Fact is, I'd really like it if you would, if, that is, you wouldn't mind."

"Mind? Believe me, kiddo, I wouldn't mind at all! Truth be told, Mikey, I've been busting a gut to lock lips with the new you ever since Magatrix brought you back to the table with her."
